Megan Kerr is running for LBUSD Board.
Today, the leaders of two child-advocacy groups based in Long Beach put their support behind Megan Kerr – the candidate for the 1st District school board seat.
Dora Jacildo serves as the Executive Director of Children Today, a non-profit that serves Long Beach children and their families who are homeless or involved in the child welfare system. She also sits on the Board of Directors for Los Angeles Universal Preschool, whose mission is to provide access to quality early childhood education programs for all children in Los Angeles County, and serves on the faculty at Los Angeles Harbor College.
