Close to 200 members of the Long Beach community gathered on Saturday night Feb. 2, 2013 at The Grand Event Center in Long Beach to honor local Long Beach physician and long time AIDS activist Bill Maletz, MD. The event was also a fundraiser benefitting The Long Beach Gay and Lesbian Center, The C.A.R.E. Program at St. Mary Medical Center, The AIDS Food Store and The Women with HIV and AIDS Program At BHS.
