Harry Saltzgaver
Yesterday, the Long Beach City Council voted unanimously to confirm long-time Long Beach resident Harry Saltzgaver as the newest member of the Long Beach Board of Water Commissioners . Mr. Saltzgaver, who was appointed to the position by Mayor Bob Foster, replaces former Commissioner Bill Townsend, who recently moved out of the city and was no longer eligible to serve on the Commission. Mr. Saltzgaver becomes the 60th Long Beach citizen to serve on the Board.
